Retail
Our retail stores are staffed with friendly, knowledgeable, socially responsible and customer-focused employees. We look for qualified candidates who are reliable and available to work a variety of shifts. Typical retail opportunities include casual, part-time and full-time Store Clerks, full time Retail Product Specialists and Store Management positions.
Distribution Centre
Our climate controlled distribution centre is located in Bayers Lake Business Park, Halifax, and is WCB Safety Certified. The Distribution Centre receives, prepares, stores stock and ships product orders to our retail stores across the province. It is staffed with productive, safety- oriented and customer-focused employees. Employment opportunities in our Distribution Centre are generally available on a casual basis with growth opportunities.
Head Office
Our Head Office is located in the Bayers Lake Business Park, Halifax. We have a variety of challenging and rewarding positions for experienced professionals and entry level graduates. NSLC business units include: Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing & Merchandising, Communications & Corporate Responsibility, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Audit and Development.

Our Hiring Practices
Hiring of Relatives
When applying for a job, you are asked to indicate if you have any immediate family members currently employed by the NSLC. Immediate family members are not to be employed where there is potential for conflict of interest, or perceived conflict of interest, between the employee and the immediate family member. Immediate family means spouse, or common law spouse, child, parent or legally designated guardian, grandparent, grandchild, brother, sister, and in-laws of the same degree. Current step relationships and relatives residing in the same household are treated in the same manner as outlined above.
