The holiday season is a time for celebration, but it can be a challenging time of year for Nova Scotians facing food insecurity or access to mental health supports. The NSLC is proud to work together with our shoppers, team members, and supplier partners to help those in need this holiday season by supporting our community partners Feed Nova Scotia and the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
Thank you to our shoppers and generous supplier partners at Arterra, Beam Suntory, Benjamin Bridge, Charton, Coldstream, Compass Distillers, Dandurand, Diageo, Domaine de Grande Pré, Ironworks Distillery, Island Folk Cider House, Mark Anthony, Mer er Soleil, Molson Coors, Muwin Estate Wines, Nine Locks, and Propeller Brewing for supporting Feed Nova Scotia and the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia this holiday season.
Add a Donation to Your In-Store Purchase
In the spirit of giving back together, when you shop in-store during the weekends of November 21 to November 24 and November 28 to December 1, you can add a donation to your purchase to support these organizations. Together, we can help shed the stigma.
Support Feed Nova Scotia from Nov. 21 - 24
Feed Nova Scotia collects and distributes roughly three million kilograms of food annually to food banks, meal programs, and shelters across the province. Additionally, the organization works to raise awareness of the root causes of food insecurity – systematic racism, unaffordable housing, low wages, and inadequate income support.
