Directions
1. Slice the goat cheese into 12 equal pieces, then roll into balls. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
2. Heat 3 inches of oil in a heavy saucepan until it reaches 375°F.
3. Roll the goat cheese balls into the flour then dip in the beaten egg. Roll in the bread crumbs being sure to completely coat the balls.
4. Carefully drop a ball into the oil. Using a long spoon, gently roll them around so they don’t stick.
5. Fry for 1 minute, or until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Repeat with remaining balls.
6. Top balls with prosciutto and drizzle with honey.
