The Pear Blue Cheese and Prosciutto Crostini is a tasty appetizer that will amaze your guests! It features blue cheese, a thinly sliced pear and slices of prosciutto. Best served with a sprig of fresh thyme for garnish.
8 slices baguette or sourdough, cut on the diagonal
2 tbsp olive oil
4 oz blue cheese
1 pear, thinly sliced
4 slices prosciutto, halved
2 tbsp honey
Sprig of fresh thyme leaves (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Brush the bread with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and bake until crisp, about 10 minutes.
3. Once cool, arrange on a serving platter and top each crostini with blue cheese, prosciutto and a slice of pear. Drizzle with honey.
