Directions
Make lemon simple syrup by combining 3 cups water and 3 cups sugar in a pot. Bring to a boil. When the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and add the peel of 2 lemons. Let steep for 30 to 40 minutes. Strain and then transfer to a large container and add 8 to 10 cups of cold water and slices of lemon.
Raspberry Cinnamon Syrup
Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup raspberries in a pot. Bring to a boil. When the sugar has dissolved, reduce heat to simmer. Add 1 stick of cinnamon. Let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool and then strain and transfer to a container. Be sure to use a fine strainer to remove seeds.
Strawberry Black Pepper Syrup
Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup strawberries (hulled, halved) in a pot. Bring to a boil. When the sugar has dissolved, reduce heat to simmer. Add 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper. Let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool, then strain and transfer to a container. Be sure to use a fine strainer to remove seeds.
Haskap Anise Syrup
Combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a pot. Bring to a boil. When the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat. Add 1/2 cup haskap berry juice and 2 pods star anise. Let steep for 30 to 40 minutes. Strain and transfer to a container.
