The NSLC offers the perfect gift for any occasion. Whether for a birthday, holiday, special milestone or just because, an NSLC gift card is always a good idea.
Where can I buy an NSLC gift card?
You can purchase NSLC gift cards:
- At any NSLC store
- In many retail stores across Nova Scotia.
- Please note: Any gift cards not purchased directly from the NSLC are managed by third-party vendors and do not fall under the purview of the NSLC. If you encounter any issues with an NSLC gift card purchased through another retailer, please get in touch with that retailer directly.
- By phone at 1-800-567-5874 from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday.
- NSLC gift cards purchased over the phone can be shipped anywhere, including outside of Nova Scotia, and you will not be charged a shipping fee.
- NSLC gift card orders placed over the phone will be delivered by Canada Post (up to $500) or Purolator (over $500).
The NSLC does not currently offer the ability to purchase or use gift cards online.
How to Check an NSLC Gift Card Balance
Online
To check your NSLC gift card balance online, click the button below. You will then be taken to an application where you will be asked to enter your gift card number and card pin. After you enter the information, you will see the funds on the gift card.
In-Store
If you are in-store and want to check your gift card balance, you can ask the team member serving you, and they can check the balance at a register.
Additionally, your gift card balance will appear at the bottom of your receipt after using it for a transaction.

Can I use an NSLC gift card to purchase cannabis?
Yes, you can use your NSLC gift card to purchase cannabis products in any of our cannabis locations.
Can I use my NSLC gift card online?
We are currently unable to accept NSLC gift cards as payment for online orders. However, they may be used at any of our 100+ locations across the province.
Can I use my NSLC gift card when purchasing beverage alcohol from an Authorized Agent?
NSLC gift cards are currently only accepted at our corporate locations. You cannot use an NSLC gift card to purchase an NSLC Authorized Agent.
What are the amounts of NSLC Gift Cards?
NSLC gift cards come in four amounts: $15, $25, $50, or $100.
