Garlic Marinated Olives

Bring a taste of Spain to any get-together with this delicious tapas treat.

Ingredients

1 cup black olives

2 tbsp dried ancho chili

10 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp lemon juice

Red wine vinegar (sufficient amount to marinate olives)

Directions

1. Strain any oil from the olives, lightly crush them in a mixing bowl, then stir in the chili and garlic.

2. Pour the mixture into a sealable glass jar and add red wine vinegar until completely submerged.

3. Add lemon juice and seal the jar.

4. Let marinate at room temperature for 2-3 days, shaking the jar occasionally.

5. Serve with a baguette and your favourite soft cheese.
