Cherry Clafoutis

The Cherry Clafoutis features pitted cherries, almond extract and eggs.

Ingredients

4 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp almond extract

1 cup milk

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

Butter, to grease pan

1 1/2 cups cherries, halved, pitted

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Combine eggs and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer.

3. Mix until combined.

4. Add almond extract and milk and mix.

5. Sift in the flour and salt.

6. Mix until it forms a batter.

7. Grease a 9-inch round baking dish with butter.

8. Place cherries on bottom of the dish.

9. Fill with the batter.

10. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

11. Check doneness by inserting a skewer
