    The Eton Mess features fresh strawberries, crumbled meringue and whipped cream. Best served in an old fashioned glass.

    Ingredients

    2 tsp superfine granulated sugar

    2 cups whipping cream

    4 cups crumbled meringue

    4 cups strawberries, hulled, halved

    Directions

    1. Combine the sugar and whipping cream in a bowl.

    2. Whip until stiff peaks form.

    3. Add the crumbled meringue and mix.

    4. Fill 4 old fashioned glasses with half of the whipped cream mixture.

    5. Top each with half of the strawberries. Repeat.
